Hello, I’m Jermaine,
UI/UX Designer based in Singapore – I create digital experience with passion and empathy.
Several years ago, I got in touch with digital design, fell in love with it and self-taught myself since. Having a background in business - marketing, I approach UI/UX problems with business objectives in mind. Firmly believing a good designer has to understand how to strike a good balance between Aesthetics, Usability, Content Strategy and Business Goals - Walking through the footsteps of a user to build user flows, information architecture and wireframes is the beginning, interpreting findings into design iterations is the process.
With my knowledge and experience in design and analytics, I translate raw data into findings and design improvements that meet both user needs and business objectives. Forming a concept intrigues me, making it happen drives me. Let's talk if you are keen to work on a new creation together.
RGF Singapore is a leading Japanese-based recruitment firm that serves to match candidates with the right opportunities. Incoming job applications through the website has always been an integral candidate source for RGF. To maximise the success rate of a candidate placement, we needed to maximise the volume of incoming job applications. In order to achieve that, we introduced the JobCart function to make the job application process mimic an e-commerce process. This made multiple application possible at one go and resulted in a more than 4 folds increase in total number of applications received.
Mark Allison, the founder of Personal Transformation for Global Change (PTGC) wanted to bring his business online and start an online coaching platform. I worked together closely with him to define his brand identity, information architecture and visual design for his entire site.
An old portfolio site of mine to display some of my past works. It is a responsive website catered to multi-screens. Theme to appear soft yet bringing through a tinge of positivity.View Site
